Electric cars for more! At Carla, we create the simplest, safest, and most transparent way to buy, sell, and lease electric cars. The company was founded in 2021, has strong investors, and is now in an exciting growth phase, which is why we are looking for a sharp valuator for our commercial team.

About the role

At Carla, we buy and sell electric cars, and everything we do is about finding the optimal balance between what we pay and what we sell for. In addition, we need to provide quick service to individuals and businesses who want to sell their cars to us. Beyond automated processes and decision support, we now need to find a person who can help us evaluate what we can pay for electric and plug-in hybrid cars. You will work closely with people who have deep experience in both startup/company building and the automotive industry.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Benchmarking individual items against publicly available and internal data.
• Valuing incoming cars for sale and purchase.
• Improving our own internal data to make better decisions.
• Contacting dealers to maximize bids on trade-in cars.
• Participating in improving our decision-making frameworks and valuation processes.

Who we are looking for:

We at Carla are looking for individuals who have that magical mix of being the best at what they do, having a strong inner drive, while also being humble and willing to learn even more.

For this particular role, we believe it is especially good if you are:

• Detail-oriented with good product knowledge; you should know the difference between a Tesla Model 3 from 2019 and 2022 and what the price difference is for a comparable car with a sunroof versus one without.
• Have worked in a dedicated valuation role for at least 6 months.
• Experience working with the Swedish used car market.
• A regular user of relevant digital tools for car valuation.
• Comfortable working with large data sets.
• A person who gets thrilled at the sight of a large Excel sheet but even happier to improve it.

Scope:

• Full-time. The role is based at our office in Stockholm.
• Weekend work 1-2 weekend shifts from 10 AM to 5 PM per month may occur. During weekend shifts, you work from home and receive additional compensation and compensatory leave.
